What is the AGCT?
The Army General Classification Test name comes from the group test used by the U.S. Army for personnel classification during World War II. The Cognitive Index version is a modern online practice form with verbal, mathematical, and spatial problem solving.

Format and what to expect
The test begins with five training items and then moves through multiple-choice vocabulary, quantitative, and spatial questions. Each item has four answer choices, and the 40-minute timer applies to the full test.
